The Keys Systems / App privacy

Your work,
on this device.

Prepared 17 September 2026. This notice covers the bundled desktop app and the mobile builds being prepared.

You choose what to create, what to save and when to share it.

Catalogue and creative work

The bundled Corpus catalogue and Studio tools operate locally. This edition has no app account, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, or automatic upload of your project text, reading list, audio, or video.

Reading lists are saved on your device. Studio project text is saved in the app's local web storage when you choose Save locally. Imported media and recordings are held for the current editing session and are not included in saved project JSON. Export the files you want to keep.

Clearing app data can remove locally saved work. The Windows desktop edition uses your Windows user profile, including when you run the portable executable. Uninstalling the desktop edition preserves that profile by default. Removing a mobile app can remove its local data. Your device's backup settings may also affect local app data. Browser and native editions keep their own local storage; this release does not provide automatic cloud synchronization.

Microphone and selected files

The microphone is used only when you start recording and grant permission. Selected audio and video are processed locally. Use Studio's Stop control to end recording. On desktop, microphone permission ends when you close the app, and Windows privacy settings can also disable access. Mobile microphone permissions can be revoked in device settings. The app does not require contacts, location, broad photo-library access, or tracking permission.

Export and share

You choose when to export a file and where to keep or send it. Desktop exports use the operating system Save As dialog, with a 25 MB limit per file. Files you save remain in the destination you choose until you remove them; the app does not automatically delete saved desktop exports.

The mobile builds being prepared use native sharing, which creates a temporary app-cache copy. Copies older than 24 hours are removed on a later launch. Once you share a file, the recipient's retention and privacy practices apply. Reading-list exports contain titles and public links, not original works.

External websites

Public film links, company pages, support and the private AI workspace open in an external browser. Those services receive normal connection information and use their own privacy and account rules. The app does not copy a website sign-in, store provider keys, or send your drafts to an AI service automatically.

This downloads website serves public release information and app files. Its hosting service receives ordinary connection information needed to deliver a page or download. This page contains no analytics scripts, advertising scripts or embedded third-party players.

Control and support

You can remove individual reading-list items and saved Studio projects in the app. Export a copy before deleting work you want to keep. For questions, visit thekeyssystems.com/contact.

Native app store releases are still being prepared. Any future release with different data practices will need an updated privacy notice.
